Root Cause: On Friday, October 27, 2023, at approximately 20:30 (CET), an urgent security update was deployed to address a critical threat, successfully mitigating the risk. However, an unintended consequence of this update was the blocking of Android users from accessing the platform.
Resolution: To rectify the situation, as soon the on-call team was notified, the security rule responsible for the block was first disabled to unblock Android users then promptly adjusted. Valid Android user agents were unblocked by Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11:30 AM (CET).
