During the aforementioned window, several sandbox.game services, including our Game API, quest completion, accurate players time tracking, Experience publishing, and more, were adversely affected. As a result, data could not be successfully saved in our database.
Although our GM-API end-point, as already reported in the status page, experienced a brief 12-minute outage, it had a ripple effect as several database jobs encountered sporadic difficulties in committing their transactions and data was not saved on our data base.
To resolve this issue, database parameter tuning became imperative, and this task was successfully completed on the same day, Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, at approximately 11:55 AM (CET).
